"Sure, they've got dozens of cool buttons, flashing lights, and big LCD screens—and best of all, they makes you look really important, right? But thanks to powerful, business-minded cell phones like the BlackBerry, the good-ole desktop phone will be an endangered species by 2011, a new report claims.

According to the industry analysts at Gartner, desktop phones will probably still be around come 2011, but 'enterprise' handsets like BlackBerrys and Windows Mobile phones will soon become the 'primary device' for most business users."
