With these 10 free and low-cost utilities, you can download videos from YouTube, download streaming audio and even edit your own creations."

Convert your PDFs to Word Docs

"There are several well-regarded and free ways that take advantage of the Print function to transform just about any file type to a PDF. PrimoPDF and doPDF sit at the top of the list, but what about reverse engineering that conversion? Converting in the other direction, from a PDF to an MS Word-compatible format like doc or RTF is trickier.

For one thing, there are a lot of bad converters out there. Many PDF to doc converters have similar or even identical names, differentiated sometimes by nothing more than a cunning tap of the space bar. Many offer features that are hamstrung in various ways unless you pay for an upgrade, and just about all of them offer imperfect conversions. Even with these problems, though, you can get a reasonable conversion from the four programs and three Web-based services listed below."

Video Review of the Flip Video MinoHD

While it has its flaws and is a bit expensive, the ultrasimple Flip Video MinoHD produces impressive video for a camcorder of its size. I think I wanna get one of these. ;-)

AT&T to Offer $50 Netbooks - Don't do it!!!

AT&T will begin selling netbooks with integrated wireless Internet cards, selling them for as low as $50 — with a data plan contract, of course. The rollout will begin in Atlanta and Philadelphia.

People, Tweeple, and everyone else who will listen. NerdBoyTV does NOT recommend this. Wanna know WHY? When I did it, they failed to tell you that the 3G Broadband data transfer limit is ONLY 5Gigs per MONTH. My seven days of use (including overages) totaled $1,900!!!!! AT&T did reverse the charge and let me off the hook for maybe $50, but dammit, this almost gave me a heartattack. Better to buy the netbook outright and use with WiFi (free) or get an unlimited 3G plan (which are getting rarer if not impossible to find cause they don't really want Tweeple like me who stay connected like 24/7!).

NerdBoyTV says, "No, No, No. Buyer beware!"
